Firmoo Review + Instagram Update

FIRMOO REVIEW
The lovely team at Firmoo asked me to review this pair of spectacles. Firmoo are an online optical store that offer a range of affordable glasses and sunglasses. This particular pair are called style #F038. I love the subtle cat-eye shape and the funky design at the side. They're super comfortable and give a great amount of space for false lashes.  Also, the customer service was great with a very (surprisingly) quick international shipment. Pale Shades

Hello,

Have you ever wandered into your (bursting) wardrobe and thought 'I have nothing to wear!'? Well, I have to admit, today I had one of those moments. The original outfit I intended to wear today did not arrive on time (grrr!) So I just had to improvise and put this random outfit together. Again this was another chance to challenge my thought process as I would never have thought to pair pale mint with nude! Thank you for passing by, have a fabulous week ahead!

Battalion

Hello,

I have to admit I had way too much fun planning for this blog post! It all started when I locked eyes with this top at H&M. I love how it’s shiny but yet delicate. It would have been very conventional for me to pair it with white or nude but somehow the colour Khaki seemed so appealing. This then lead to me deciding to go for the whole military-chic look and add the lace up boots, aviator shades and Italian army hat. Despite the constant glaring of passers-by, I definitely plan to have more fun with dress-up! Thank you for reading, have a wonderful week!

La Belle

Hello,

I think it's finally safe to say that winter is here (Brrr!) For today's look I chose to wear this JEN NOIR top, but spiced it up with a detailed belt and red-monochromatic look. I struggled on deciding which coat to style this with, although my heart desired a white coat, my mind advised otherwise. I felt a black coat would be the best accompaniment to balance the colour tone of the look and of course go with my sunglasses! Thank you for passing by, I wish you a wonderfully warm week ahead!

Earth Tones

Hello,

Today, I thought I’d pay homage to the autumn/winter weather and play around with some earth tones. As I've been wearing trench coats for quite a while now, I also wanted to share the various ways in which they can be styled. Although the outfit is generally causal, I opted for the cat-eyed sunglasses for some extra personality. Also, during this period here in the UK, we wear the red remembrance poppy to pay respect to the members of the armed force who died in the line of duty. Camel Coat

Hello,

Today I'm super duper pleased to show you all the first top from my collection! It features a lace overlay with eyelash-lace neck detail. It's so weird to think of something, design it and actually have it in full body before me in a matter of weeks! I chose this clutch bag I bought in Greece (and totally forgot about) as it complements the tone of the coat. A camel coat was so overdue in my life, do you like? Floral Print

Hello,

After stumbling across an advert for this gorgeous skirt, I just had to go to the website to further explore. It comes in two colours: beige and navy blue – I made a last minute decision to get the navy instead. I just love the unique print and the strong structure of the skirt. I usually pair most outfits with heels but thought this time I would go for a more ‘winter’ look by adding the boots and floppy hat. The boot were another impulse buy *sighs* I’m starting to think  I have a bit of a habit here! Thank you for passing by, have a wonderful week ahead!

It brings great joy to my heart to announce that JEN NOIR is officially one year old! Upon reflection, I remember desperately seeking a platform to share my sense of style as well as document and showcase my passion for fashion design. After a persistent rate of nagging from my dear sister Maxine, I decided to follow her advice to take the bold step and start this blog! This has been the best decision I have ever made, JEN NOIR has become my passion, drive and goal.  Although we are still at the preliminary stage of this brand, a lot has been learned along the way. I would personally like to thank every single person that has ever graced the Blog, Instagram, online store or Twitter account with their presence. This is just the beginning of something beautiful!
