London Collections: MEN

HARDY AMIES

Hello,

London Collections: Men (A/W 15) was nothing short of fantastic. It's so refreshing to see the amount of talent contained in this small city we call London. I loved the fact that the different designers really took it to a different level and played with unusual styles - thus pushing the threshold. Still not over the Burberry models with manbags - love it!! Although I literally loved them all, the Tom Ford collection really stood out for me - I can't help it, I love the tailored look! Below are some more picture of my fave looks from some of the shows, what were your highlights?

Minimalist

Hello,

I like to think of myself as a minimalist at heart – I enjoy the challenge of making an outfit work with a limited amount of accessories and colours. As usual it’s (still!) wet and windy in London, so in true rebel form I dress for Spring and ‘protect’ myself with a coat. I’ve also started this strange habit of wearing red lipstick daily, I feel like a different woman in it – don’t ask! Lol. Thank you so much for passing by, have a beautiful week ahead!

Trip To Somerset House

Hello,

I recently paid a visit to Somerset house to (amongst other things) view the Guy Bourdin: Image Maker exhibition.  To be very honest, his work has completely changed my view of photography of the female body. As opposed to viewing the female body as a ‘sex object’ per say, Guy Bourdin truly celebrated it. I love the different angles he used and the fact that he worked so closely with a particular model. The exhibition has definitely inspired me to change the style of photography on the blog and hopefully explore some new angles. I also visited The Unseen Emporium as well as the Blondie photo exhibit. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I did!
