Givenchy SS'15 x Handmaidens Tale

Thought I'd share this 'different' look I tried out last weekend. Having recently watch The Handmaidens Tale, I felt inspired by the fully covered costumes - there was something very dark but yet conservative about their uniforms. As you may know, I designed this corset last year (inspired by the amazing corsets from the Givenchy SS'15 collection) and found it very fitting for this look. Hello,

Literally since my package arrived, I patiently waited for the weekend to come just so I could rock these bad boys! I just love the sleek futuristic look. The very unique material just opens my mind up for so many different outfit textures to play with! (I'm thinking maybe fur next or very delicate hair-like wool?) Since I've finally had the perspex experience, it's only fitting I give an honest review!

PRO's: Sleek, gorgeous, literally breaks necks on the streets and loves the camera.

CON's: Can get sweaty and defo inspires new ways to conceal impefections.

Sunny Spells...

Hello,

Today the sun came out to play, so I just had to seize the opportunity to wear a more ‘summery’ outfit. I also noticed I haven’t really been featuring my designs on the blog lately, so this Jen Noir crop top just HAD to be in the mix! I look to my (designated wardrobe solely for my) coat collection and still fail to understand why I keep buying more! I’ve been ogling over this coat on ASOS for a few months now. When it initially sold out I accepted the fact that we simply weren’t meant to be, but the minute it came back in stock I just HAD to seize the opportunity. I’m seriously loving khaki tones this season, I hope to style it with as many earth tones (browns, nudes, creams etc) as possible! Thanks for passing by, enjoy this ‘glorious’ weather.

Minimalist

Hello,

I like to think of myself as a minimalist at heart – I enjoy the challenge of making an outfit work with a limited amount of accessories and colours. As usual it’s (still!) wet and windy in London, so in true rebel form I dress for Spring and ‘protect’ myself with a coat. Firmoo Review + Instagram Update

FIRMOO REVIEW
The lovely team at Firmoo asked me to review this pair of spectacles. Firmoo are an online optical store that offer a range of affordable glasses and sunglasses. This particular pair are called style #F038. I love the subtle cat-eye shape and the funky design at the side. They're super comfortable and give a great amount of space for false lashes.  Also, the customer service was great with a very (surprisingly) quick international shipment. Pale Shades

Hello,

Have you ever wandered into your (bursting) wardrobe and thought 'I have nothing to wear!'? Well, I have to admit, today I had one of those moments. The original outfit I intended to wear today did not arrive on time (grrr!) So I just had to improvise and put this random outfit together. Battalion

Hello,

I have to admit I had way too much fun planning for this blog post! It all started when I locked eyes with this top at H&M. I love how it’s shiny but yet delicate. It would have been very conventional for me to pair it with white or nude but somehow the colour Khaki seemed so appealing. This then lead to me deciding to go for the whole military-chic look and add the lace up boots, aviator shades and Italian army hat. Despite the constant glaring of passers-by, I definitely plan to have more fun with dress-up! Thank you for reading, have a wonderful week!
