Sunny Spells...

Hello,

Today the sun came out to play, so I just had to seize the opportunity to wear a more ‘summery’ outfit. I also noticed I haven’t really been featuring my designs on the blog lately, so this Jen Noir crop top just HAD to be in the mix! Hello,

I look to my (designated wardrobe solely for my) coat collection and still fail to understand why I keep buying more! I’ve been ogling over this coat on ASOS for a few months now. When it initially sold out I accepted the fact that we simply weren’t meant to be, but the minute it came back in stock I just HAD to seize the opportunity. Minimalist

Hello,

I like to think of myself as a minimalist at heart – I enjoy the challenge of making an outfit work with a limited amount of accessories and colours. As usual it’s (still!) wet and windy in London, so in true rebel form I dress for Spring and ‘protect’ myself with a coat. Pale Shades

Hello,

Have you ever wandered into your (bursting) wardrobe and thought 'I have nothing to wear!'? Well, I have to admit, today I had one of those moments. The original outfit I intended to wear today did not arrive on time (grrr!) So I just had to improvise and put this random outfit together. Hello,

I have to admit I had way too much fun planning for this blog post! It all started when I locked eyes with this top at H&M. I love how it’s shiny but yet delicate. It would have been very conventional for me to pair it with white or nude but somehow the colour Khaki seemed so appealing. This then lead to me deciding to go for the whole military-chic look and add the lace up boots, aviator shades and Italian army hat. Despite the constant glaring of passers-by, I definitely plan to have more fun with dress-up! Thank you for reading, have a wonderful week!

Camel Coat

Hello,

Today I'm super duper pleased to show you all the first top from my collection! It features a lace overlay with eyelash-lace neck detail. It's so weird to think of something, design it and actually have it in full body before me in a matter of weeks! I chose this clutch bag I bought in Greece (and totally forgot about) as it complements the tone of the coat. A camel coat was so overdue in my life, do you like? Electric Blue

Hello,

Something about this vibrant red hair makes me dare to try wild new colours for my apparel. Today I decided to change it up and wore this JEN NOIR bird cage veil (available here) under a fedora hat. It’s really fun to find new ways to style/wear the veil, I hope to gradually update you all on my discoveries. Also, to add to the fun edgy look I achieved the ombre lips using Mac’s Ruby Woo lipstick with the Nightmoth lip liner. Thank you for passing by, have a fabulous week ahead!

Paradox

Hello,

Hope you are all fab (as usual!). I know I haven't been very 'present' for a brief duration; I've been super busy setting up the JEN NOIR store! For today's outfit post I really wanted to dress soft and sweet (floral’s with bright colours) but also hard and bold (structured biker jacket), hence the blog post title!! I have to be honest, Autumn/Fall is by far my favourite season as I cease any excuse to wear any of my (many) coats and  jackets! Oh and I dyed my hair cherry-red for a nice change, hope you like it!Thank you for passing by, enjoy the last bits of sunshine!

Get Ready With Me!

Hello,

As a female, my favourite part of going out is the whole ‘getting ready’ process. I especially love exchanging tips with my fellow ladies and learning new trick to this trade we call beauty. So, for this weeks post I thought it would be a fun idea to share with you how I got ready for my friend's wedding! Hope you enjoy the read & have a beautiful week ahead!

HAIR

I like playing with my side bangs and trying different styles with it. For today’s look I parted the bangs into three and curled each section in using the tongs. I then back-combed and used a lot of holding spray and soft wax to hold the shape (for as long as possible). The rest of the hair is simply straightened.

MAKEUP

Today I went for a very neutral look  with a splash of drama on the eyes. I LOVE smokey eyes combined with bronze! For the eye makeup the MAC 217 blending brush is a must! After adding a base colour, I then applied black eye shadow to the edges of my eyelids and used the 217 blending brush to blend upwards. I also added a subtle contour and simplified the look with nude lipstick.

NAILS

I’ve never really tried white nail polish but as it’s summer I thought why not?! Really like how it contrasts against everything.
