Sincerest apologies for not blogging for such a long time.  January brought a dramatic (but good) change to my life that required my full attention.  But now I’m fully settled and can finally proceed with life! Today I met up with my sister for brunch and wanted to wear something fairly simple with a touch of sophistication. I bought this coat during the Zara sale last year; I love how it literally formalises every outfit. I also transformed the jumper into a crop top (DIY) in order to remove any visible seam lines on the skirt. Thank you for reading & have a lovely warm week ahead!

Back To Black

Hello,

I know I said I would (try to) wear less black, but I just can't help myself. I saw this hairy gilet at a random boutique and just could not walk away from it. I love that it's so fluffy and soft, it kept me super warm all day. The waist belt highlights my silhouette and adds a little glitz. I gifted myself with the Selma bag, tis the season and all! I hope you all had a truly amazing Christmas, and I wish you a wonderful new year!

Sports Luxe

Hello,

Once in a while I like to take a break from the 'all black' and serious dressing and delve into the world of fun bright colours and sultry leather. I really do love how the lime shade of this dress kind of POPS! I've actually worn it before as a party dress, but decided to de-formalise it by pairing it with a leather jacket and sporty heels for a more suitable day look. Skirt By Me!

Hello,

This skirt is another one of my designs, I call her 'SASHA'! I usually experience great difficulty with high-waisted skirts as my hips are quite wide in comparison to my waist. But as this skirt is made to measure, it fits perfectly! The skirt also features a small slit at the back which (secretly) allows great freedom with movement. Faux Fur

Hello,

This fur stole has remained a key piece in my winter wardrobe for a few years and to be honest I can't see myself parting from it! I usually pair it with most of my blazers or leather jackets to add a touch of winter chic. Although the high slit skirt is a tad risqué, I felt that the blazer would balance out the look by creating a more classy appearance. Thank you for reading; I wish you a warm week ahead!
